The new collection of Max Mara sunglasses frames for Spring-Summer 2001 features the brand new 'S Max Mara line. True to the spirit of the collection, these new sunglasses models feature outstanding technical-functional details, like the rubber effect of the frames and the comfortable, curved design of the temples. A metallic inset in the bridge and endpieces effectively enhances a color palette including opaque, beige, black, coffee and navy blue.

There's a 70s inspiration for the new "diva" collection of eyewear in transparent plastic, characterized by large, almost exaggerated shapes that render the line totally fashion-forward. The tonalities are fascinating, subtly shaded hues that are found in both the frames and lenses: camel, dark brown, moss green and a wide spectrum of purples.

Distinguished by different shapes, the models in multi-layered acetate are gorgeous: small and large, squared and regular. The special workmanship that characterizes the plastic in this line has created shimmering radiance and exclusive chromatic effects. Silver is blended with black and white, brown with black and blue and white with beige and brown. The M logo in metal smartly adorns the temples.

New styling and wraparound shapes for the models with day lenses. The shiny or frosted metal of the frames shows off the nuancing of the lenses, while the acetate earpieces render this eyewear very sophisticated and elegant. Colors typically found in the Max Mara collection: camel, brown, gray, blue, green, light blue and purple.

Max Mara also features more hard-hitting screen-style eyewear with a single lens and very large shapes. The flash lenses are very new and fashionable, as is the subtle mirrored effect in tones of silver, light blue and gray.

The collection of Max Mara frames and sunglasses is manufactured and distributed by the Safilo Group.
