 2001 Ophthalmic Collection Expressive Shapes

Strong details and high-tech materials such as hytrex are colour-coordinated to create a futuristic and versatile collection with high impact. Linear or sinuous, compact or daringly slim, the new models - 13 in metal and 11 in acetate - play on the basic nature of the material, stringently shaped or free and highly expressive.

Acetate
Style no: 651 has a strong visual impact thanks to the materials, shape and extremely minimalist design. The lenses are round and slightly low, attached to the temples by small pins in the same colour. The glasses are as light as a feather and adapt to any shape of face thanks to the high flexibility of the temples which are made of rubber. They come in a range of bright colours.
Style no: 654 has double-barred frames, with bright colour coordination and a unisex oval shape with distinctive temple features which even out at the back with the embossed eagle logo.
Style no: 642 has large square lenses on a fairly thick frame which emphasises the eyes and sets off the face. The front is milled, double-barred, with six colours ranging from light blue to brown, black to blue-green, plum to beige. The temples are in hytrex and change tone according to the frames. The logo is set in the temple.

Metal
Style no: 173, is high-tech with sophisticated details. The glasses are made of ultra-light nylon and the large oval lenses are held by a barely visible wire.
Style no: 185 is a sort of visor in thin plate with the lenses cut out. The nose-pad is moulded and mounted with small screws. The bridge is transparent and the end pieces in injected plastic can be adjusted as required.
Style no: 179 is classic yet non-conformist, with perfectly round lenses joined by a very long and slim bridge. The temples, which narrow towards the end piece, are flexible and have the unmistakable enamelled eagle.
